This is a Dell-branded 450 GB 3.5-inch SAS hard drive spinning at 15,000 RPM and supplied with an R-Series hot-plug tray. It is built for direct installation into compatible PowerEdge servers. The drive carries the Dell part number FM501 and the Seagate model ST3450856SS.

Suits maintainers of listed PowerEdge models

It fits the 1950, 2900, 2950, 2970, 6850, 6950, 840, 860, R200, R300, R900, R905, SC140, SC145, SC440, T100, T105 and T300 families.
