This 3.5 inch internal hard drive delivers 600 GB of storage on a 6 Gbit SAS interface. The 15 000 RPM spindle speed targets enterprise workloads that demand quick random access. It is supplied new with a Dell R tray for direct mounting in compatible bays.

Fits 3.5 inch SAS backplanes

The drive slides into any 3.5 inch bay wired for SAS 6 Gbit connectivity and draws power from the standard backplane connector. No separate caddy or adapter is required when the chassis accepts the included R tray. The SAS interface frees up SATA ports for other devices in the same system.

Includes Dell R tray for tool-less install

The bundled tray locks the drive into Dell PowerEdge and Precision chassis that use the R-series sled design. No screws or extra brackets are needed, reducing swap time during maintenance. Retail or OEM packaging may vary, but the tray is always included.
