Capacity and interface

This is a 600GB 3.5 inch SAS hard drive spinning at 15000RPM with 16MB cache. It is a new desktop internal drive supplied with a tray for hot-swap bays. The SAS interface provides a 6G link for direct connection to a compatible controller or backplane.

Build integration

The drive fits a standard 3.5 inch hot-swap bay and requires a SAS host bus adapter or RAID controller with an available port. It does not connect to onboard SATA ports without an interposer or controller. The included tray secures the drive and enables tool-less removal while the system remains powered.
