The included 58CWC tray matches Dell 13th generation drive carriers, so the drive slides directly into hot-swap bays without extra brackets. Installation fails when the chassis is not a Dell 13G platform or when the backplane does not support 3.5-inch SATA drives. Firmware mismatches on non-Dell controllers can also prevent the drive from being recognised.
