The DELL Latitude 5424 is a 14.0-inch rugged laptop built for harsh environments with military-grade construction. It runs Windows 11 Pro on an 8th Gen Intel Core i7-8650U quad-core processor with 8MB cache and speeds up to 4.20 GHz. The 10-point touchscreen supports glove use and offers 1920 x 1080 resolution for direct sunlight visibility. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics 620 handles display output.

Build Integration with Legacy and Modern Ports

This unit fits into workflows needing both modern and legacy connectivity without adapters. It provides USB 3.0 ports, USB Type C, HDMI, DisplayPort, a serial port and RJ-45 Ethernet in one chassis. Wireless options include Wi-Fi, optional LTE 4G and dedicated GPS for field connectivity. The DVD drive remains available for optical media tasks. Internal 6- and 9-cell battery packs support full-shift operation away from power outlets.

Bundled Charger and Hot-Swap Battery Ready

The included Dell OEM charger powers the system and charges installed batteries. The chassis supports an optional hot-swap bridge battery and optional spare battery chargers for continuous uptime during battery changes. Windows 11 Professional 64-bit is pre-installed and licensed for immediate deployment. The 1TB SSD and 8GB DDR4 memory are installed and configured for the operating system.
