The OptiPlex 5070 SFF is a small-form-factor desktop built around an Intel Core i7 9700 eight-core processor running at 3.00 GHz with 12 MB L3 cache. It ships with 16 GB of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe M.2 solid-state drive. Windows 11 Pro is pre-installed and the chassis uses air cooling in a black finish.

Sustained workload behaviour

The 65 W processor maintains its base clock during extended multi-threaded tasks thanks to the integrated air-cooling solution. Eight cores and eight threads allow parallel workloads such as spreadsheet modelling or virtual-machine hosting to run without the thermal throttling seen in shorter burst tests. The NVMe drive keeps read and write latency low throughout large file transfers.

DisplayPort 1.2 and USB 3.1 Gen 2 limits
