The Dell OptiPlex 7060 SFF packs an 8th Generation Intel Core i7-8700 hexa-core processor with 12 MB cache and 12 threads into a small-form-factor chassis. It ships with 8 GB DDR4 UDIMM, a 256 GB M.2 solid-state drive plus a 1 TB hard drive, DVD-ROM optical drive, USB keyboard and mouse, and Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. Integrated Intel UHD Graphics drives dual DisplayPort outputs for multi-monitor setups. A USB dongle adds 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

65 W processor keeps heat and noise low

The Core i7-8700 runs at a 65 W base power envelope with a 3.20 GHz base frequency and up to 4.60 GHz turbo boost, allowing the compact case to manage thermals quietly under typical office workloads. No discrete graphics card is present, so total system draw remains modest and fan activity stays unobtrusive during everyday tasks such as document editing, web browsing and video conferencing. The SFF layout uses internal ducting to direct airflow across the CPU and power supply without excessive noise.

SFF chassis limits expansion but saves desk space

Two low-profile PCIe card slots provide room for a dedicated GPU, additional network adapters or other add-in cards, though full-height cards will not fit. Four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port and four USB 2.0 ports cover most peripheral needs, while dual DisplayPort connectors support two monitors without adapters.
