The Dell PowerEdge MX740C is a new half-width blade server for the PowerEdge MX chassis. It carries two Intel Gold 6134 processors at 3.2 GHz, each with 8 cores and 24.75M cache. Memory totals 512 GB of DDR4 in 16 modules of 32 GB PC4-2933. Six 2.4 TB 10K SAS drives connect through an H730P MX controller.

Dense compute nodes
