Two 1TB 7.2K SATA drives connect to a PERC H330 RAID controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. A 250W cabled power supply and a DVD-ROM drive complete the base configuration.

The chassis holds up to two 3.5-inch cabled drives and maxes at 40TB raw capacity, so environments that require more drive bays or hot-swap trays should consider a larger platform. Memory tops out at 64GB across four DIMM slots, limiting heavy virtualisation hosts. Only two PCIe 3.0 slots are available, restricting add-in card expansion.

Installation fits standard 19-inch racks

Slide the unit into a 1U slot, connect power and network cables, then configure RAID via the H330 BIOS or iDRAC8 Express. The cabled power supply is not hot-swap, so plan downtime for replacement. Rail kit, bezel and video cable are not included and must be sourced separately.
