This 1U rack server ships with dual Intel Xeon E5-2603 v3 six-core processors running at 1.6 GHz and 16 GB of DDR4 memory. Three 1.2 TB SAS hard drives at 7.2K rpm are installed behind the hot-plug front bays. A PERC H330 RAID controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. A single 550 W redundant power supply and a DVD-ROM drive complete the base configuration.

Suits small business virtualisation and file serving

The eight 2.5-inch drive bays and twelve DDR4 DIMM slots give room to grow storage and memory up to the platform limits. Four onboard 1 GbE ports and two PCIe 3.0 slots handle typical networking and add-in cards. Remote management is provided by iDRAC8 Express with an upgrade path to Enterprise.
