This 2U rack server ships with a single Intel Xeon E5-2603 V3 six-core processor at 1.6GHz and 192GB of DDR4 memory across 12 DIMM slots. It supports a second processor to reach 384GB total capacity. The chassis provides eight 3.5-inch hot-plug drive bays for SAS or SATA drives.

Dual H730 RAID controllers with redundant power

Two Dell PERC H730 controllers each deliver 1GB cache and 12Gbps throughput, enabling RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the installed bays. A pair of hot-swap 750W power supplies provides full redundancy. The iDRAC8 Express module offers remote management with Lifecycle Controller, while a Matrox G200eR2 chip handles basic video output.

Rail kit and bezel not included in shipment

The unit arrives without rails, bezel, keyboard, mouse or video cable, so plan for separate rack-mount hardware. A daughter card supplies four 1GbE network ports, and up to five PCIe slots (three 3.0, two 2.0) remain available for expansion cards. Operating system is not included.
