It ships with 24 GB of DDR4 memory across twelve DIMM slots, supporting up to 384 GB total capacity. The system targets environments needing dense compute and internal storage in a standard rack footprint.

Sustained throughput with hardware RAID

Three 4 TB 7.2K SAS drives connect to a PERC H330 controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. The controller operates at 12 Gbps, maintaining consistent disk throughput during extended backup or database jobs. Dual 750 W redundant power supplies keep the array online if one unit fails, avoiding thermal throttling that can occur with single-supply designs under continuous load.

Hot-plug bays and remote management

Eight 3.5-inch hot-plug bays allow drive replacement without shutting down the chassis. The iDRAC8 with Lifecycle Controller provides out-of-band monitoring, firmware updates and virtual console access over a dedicated network port. Four 1 GbE ports on a daughter card and five PCIe slots (three 3.0, two 2.0) give flexibility for additional NICs or HBAs. A DVD-ROM and Matrox G200eR2 video complete the rear I/O.
