The Dell PowerEdge R650xs packs two Intel Xeon Gold 6330 processors at 2.0 GHz with 28 cores each into a single rack unit. Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 2933 MHz registered ECC memory and ten 1.92 TB SATA SSDs provide a balanced foundation for virtualization clusters, cloud infrastructure and dense data analytics workloads. The PERC H745 controller with 4 GB NV cache supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for flexible data protection.

Tool-free rails and front-access service

Ready Rails and a front bezel ship in the box for quick rack mounting without tools. All ten 2.5-inch drive bays, both 1400 W platinum power supplies and the dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 card are hot-swappable from the front, minimising downtime during maintenance. The iDRAC9 Enterprise module gives full remote KVM, power control and firmware updates over a dedicated management port.
