Sixty-four gigabytes of DDR4 2933 MHz registered ECC memory and eight 1.92 TB SATA SSDs sit behind a PERC H745 RAID controller. A quad-port 1 GbE OCP 3.0 adapter and iDRAC9 Enterprise complete a ready-to-rack package for virtualization and dense data workloads.

Upgrade from single-socket or smaller arrays

Moving from a single-processor server or a chassis with fewer drive bays unlocks the second Gold 6330 and the full eight-bay backplane. The jump is worth it when workloads need more simultaneous threads, larger memory footprints or local redundancy across all eight SSDs without adding another rack unit. Buyers who need more storage bays or GPU acceleration will need a larger chassis.

SATA SSD and 1 GbE ceiling
