This configuration targets midsize and large enterprises running data warehouses, virtual desktop infrastructure, databases or high-performance computing nodes.

Eight-bay 2.5-inch storage with hardware RAID

The chassis provides eight 2.5-inch drive bays populated with 400 GB SATA SSDs connected to a PERC H730 controller with 1 GB cache. The controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. Network connectivity comes from a quad-port daughter card offering two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ interfaces. iDRAC 8 Enterprise enables full remote management while ready rails and a front bezel simplify rack installation.
