It targets midsize and large enterprises running virtualised workloads, databases or high-performance computing data nodes. The PERC H730 controller supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

The dual-socket design, 24 memory slots and quad-port 1 GbE plus dual 10 Gb SFP+ networking fit environments that need balanced CPU, memory and storage capacity in a single chassis.
