Dual 14-Core Xeon 2U Server

The DELL PowerEdge R730 is a 2U rack server built for midsize and large enterprise workloads such as data warehouses, e-commerce, VDI, databases and HPC data nodes. It ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2683 v3 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with 14 cores and 3.0 GHz turbo capability. The system includes 128 GB of DDR4 2133 MHz registered ECC memory across eight 16 GB modules.

Hot-Swap Bays and Rails Included

Eight 2.5-inch drive bays accept SAS or SATA drives and the PERC H730 1 GB controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and pass-through modes. Two 750 W platinum hot-swap power supplies provide redundant power. Ready Rails and a front bezel are included for standard rack mounting. Buyers who need more than 24 memory slots or more than two processors cannot expand this chassis further.
