Two 1 TB 7.2 K SATA drives sit behind the front hot-plug bays, managed by a PERC H330 RAID controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 50 and 60. Dual 750 W redundant power supplies and an iDRAC8 remote-management module are fitted as standard.

Tool-free drive trays and CPU socket access

The chassis supports up to eight 2.5-inch hot-plug SAS or SATA drives; trays are included with populated bays so additional drives slide in without tools. A second processor can be added to the empty socket to reach the 24 DIMM slot maximum, but the board is limited to 8 GB per installed DIMM and 1536 GB total. The H330 controller occupies the dedicated PERC slot, leaving up to seven PCIe 3.0 slots for extra I/O cards.
