The chassis holds eight 2.5-inch drives; all bays are populated with 1.2 TB 10K SAS disks in this configuration. The H730 controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode. Twenty-four DDR4 slots allow expansion up to 1.5 TB of registered ECC memory. iDRAC 8 Enterprise provides out-of-band remote management without consuming a front-panel port.
