This 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon E5-2620 v3 2.4GHz 6-core processors and 512GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across 16 DIMMs. It targets midsize and large enterprises running data warehouses, e-commerce platforms, virtual desktop infrastructure, databases or high-performance computing data nodes that need dense internal storage and redundant power.

Twelve 3.5-inch bays with H730 RAID

The chassis provides twelve hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays populated with twelve 6TB 7.2K SATA drives behind a Dell PERC H730 1GB controller supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and pass-through. Two 750W platinum hot-swap power supplies deliver redundant power, while the Intel C610 chipset and 24 total DIMM slots allow memory expansion up to 1.5TB for workloads that outgrow the factory configuration.

Quad-port networking and iDRAC8 Enterprise

A Dell Intel X520/I350 daughter card adds two 1GbE and two 10Gb SFP+ ports for flexible LAN and storage networking. iDRAC8 Enterprise provides full out-of-band remote management including virtual console and lifecycle automation. ReadyRails sliding rails and a front bezel are included for immediate rack installation.
