Twelve front 3.5-inch trays accept SATA or SAS drives for capacity-focused deployments. It targets midsize and large enterprises running databases, virtual desktop infrastructure or data-warehouse nodes.

PERC H730 controller limits

The PERC H730 1 GB mini controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through at 12 Gb/s per port. All twelve bays share the controller backplane, so aggregate throughput is bound by the single-card design. Maximum installed memory reaches 1.5 TB when every slot is populated with supported modules.

Upgrade from smaller 2U chassis
