The Dell PowerEdge R730xd is a 2U rack server populated with two 14-core Xeon processors running at 2.4GHz and 768GB of DDR4 memory. Twenty-four 600GB 10K SAS drives connect through a PERC H730 controller with 1GB cache. Dual 750W platinum power supplies, quad-port 1GbE and 10Gb SFP+ networking and iDRAC8 Enterprise complete the platform.
