A single Intel Xeon E5-2609 v3 six-core processor running at 1.9 GHz and 64 GB of DDR4 memory handle compute duties. The PERC H730 RAID controller manages the three installed 2 TB SAS drives and supports RAID levels 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60.

The H730 controller’s 1 GB cache and 12 Gbps SAS links keep sequential read and write rates stable during long backup or archival jobs. With a maximum raw capacity of 52 TB across twelve bays, the array avoids the performance drop-off seen when smaller enclosures fill up.
