Storage interface limits

Twelve hot-plug bays accept SAS or SATA drives, each connected through a 12 Gbps controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60. The backplane caps usable capacity at 52 TB, so arrays larger than that require external enclosures. The four onboard 1 GbE ports handle basic connectivity; 10 GbE needs an optional NDC upgrade.

Memory ceiling
