The platform targets virtualisation hosts, database clusters and high-density compute workloads that demand dual-socket performance in a compact form factor.

Thermal and power profile

Redundant 1100W power supplies feed the chassis, which houses eight 2.5-inch drive bays and up to eight PCIe Gen 3 expansion slots. The Intel X550 network daughter card provides two 10Gb RJ45 and two 1Gb RJ45 ports for high-throughput connectivity. iDRAC9 Enterprise enables remote power cycling, sensor monitoring and firmware updates without physical access to the rack.

Included hardware and management

Two 120GB SATA RI SSDs connect to the H730P RAID controller, offering hardware RAID levels for the boot volume.
