Redundant 750 watt platinum power supplies share load and maintain operation if one unit fails, while the 2U chassis directs airflow across the CPU and memory zones. The server draws significant power under full utilisation, so rack cooling capacity must match the thermal output of dual 16-core processors and eight 10K SAS drives.

Included Controller Network And Management

The PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache enables RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the eight installed 600 GB SAS drives. A quad-port network daughter card provides two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ connections, while iDRAC9 Enterprise gives full out-of-band remote management. Rails and a front bezel are supplied for immediate rack mounting.
