It ships with 512 GB of DDR4 PC4-25600 3200 MHz unbuffered memory across sixteen 32 GB modules and 15.36 TB of enterprise SSD storage on eight 1.92 TB 2.5-inch drives. The platform targets virtualization, software-defined storage, private cloud and high-performance computing workloads.

Build integration

The chassis includes a rail kit for standard rack mounting and hot-swappable redundant power supplies that allow replacement without downtime. A PERC H730 12 Gb/s RAID controller with 2 GB NV cache manages the drive array, while a Broadcom BCM5720 quad-port 1 GbE BASE-T rNDC handles network connectivity. Memory and drives are supplied separately and require installation before deployment. Remote administration is provided by iDRAC9 Express.
