Upgrade From Single-Socket Or Older Platforms

Moving from a single-socket host or an earlier generation system adds a second 20-core CPU, quadruples memory channels and brings 64 TB of nearline SAS capacity on a PERC H730 RAID controller with 2 GB NV cache. The jump is worth it when workloads outgrow one socket or when hot-swap redundancy becomes a requirement.

Fits Standard 2U Rack With Redundant Power

The chassis includes a rail kit and dual redundant power supplies so a failed unit can be swapped without downtime. A Broadcom BCM5720 quad-port 1 GbE controller and iDRAC9 Express handle network and remote management, while the PERC H730 manages the four 16 TB SAS drives. Drives and memory ship separately for on-site installation.
