The chassis provides eight 3.5-inch large-form-factor drive bays and a PERC H730P RAID controller for storage arrays. Integrated 10GbE dual-port networking and iDRAC9 Enterprise remote management come standard. The unit is suited for virtualisation hosts, database nodes or compute clusters that need dense local storage capacity.

Confirm the 36 by 24 by 10 inch footprint fits your rack depth and that the 40-pound weight is within shelf limits. Two 750W power supplies are installed so check PDU outlet count and voltage compatibility. No hard drives are included; you must supply up to eight SATA drives and configure the RAID level on the H730P. Ensure your operating system and hypervisor support the installed Xeon generation and DDR4 memory topology.

iDRAC9 Enterprise and 10GbE adapter included

The iDRAC9 Enterprise licence enables full remote console, virtual media and automated lifecycle management without extra cost. The onboard 10GbE 2-port 562T adapter removes the need for a separate network card for high-throughput east-west traffic. Rails are available on request if your rack uses square-hole or threaded mounting. Firmware and BIOS are updated to the latest stable release before shipment.
