A PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache manages up to twelve 3.5-inch SAS or SATA drive trays. Quad-port networking provides two 1 GbE and two 10 Gb SFP+ links, while iDRAC9 Enterprise handles remote management. Redundant 750 W platinum power supplies and sliding rails are included.

Replaces single-socket storage nodes

Moving from a single-processor platform doubles the core count to 24 threads and raises the memory ceiling to 3 TB across 24 slots.
