Dual Intel Xeon Gold 6142 processors provide thirty-two cores at 2.6 GHz with 3.7 GHz turbo. 512 GB of DDR4 registered ECC memory across sixteen 32 GB modules supports large virtualisation or software-defined storage workloads.

Redundant platinum power and managed airflow

Two hot-swap 1100 watt platinum power supplies deliver N+1 redundancy for continuous operation. The 2U form factor uses Dell's engineered airflow path to cool the CPUs, memory and twenty-four 10 K SAS drives under sustained load. iDRAC 9 Enterprise provides remote thermal monitoring and power management without host OS involvement.

PERC H730P RAID and quad-port networking

The integrated PERC H730P controller with 2 GB cache enables RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through mode for the twenty-four 300 GB SAS drives.
