26 Hot-Swap 3.5-Inch Drive Bays

The chassis holds twenty-six 3.5-inch hot-swap trays, delivering exceptional raw capacity in a 2U form factor. A Dell PERC H730P controller with 2GB cache manages SAS and SATA drives across RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through. No drives are installed from the factory.

Slide-In Rails And Cable Routing

Standard rack rails let the unit slide in for front access to all drive bays and power supplies. The deep chassis requires careful cable routing at the rear to avoid airflow blockage. Memory upgrades use sixteen DDR4 slots; only 16GB is populated, so large-capacity DIMMs are needed to reach the 1TB maximum.
