The twelve cores per socket suit virtualization hosts, database nodes and analytics workloads that benefit from high single-thread speed and moderate core counts. It ships with 128 GB of registered ECC DDR4 across eight 16 GB modules at 2933 MHz.

HBA355i pass-through with twelve 8 TB drives

The PERC HBA355i presents the twelve 3.5-inch SATA drives to the operating system without RAID abstraction, giving software-defined storage layers direct block access. Each enterprise drive spins at 7.2K RPM and connects over 6 Gb/s SATA. Hot-swap bays and redundant 1400 W platinum power supplies allow drive or PSU replacement without downtime. Rails and bezel are included for rack integration.

PCIe Gen4 bandwidth and 10 GbE uplinks

The platform uses PCIe Gen4 lanes to feed the HBA355i and the dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 adapter, so storage and network traffic share doubled bandwidth versus the prior generation. iDRAC 9 Enterprise provides dedicated remote management over a separate interface.
