It ships with 1 TB of DDR4 2666 MHz registered ECC memory across 32 DIMM slots. The chassis holds 24 front-accessible 2.5-inch drive bays populated with 600 GB 10K SAS hard drives. Dual 1400 W platinum power supplies and ready rails are included.

SAS 12Gb/s and PCIe Gen4 limits

The storage subsystem uses a Dell PERC H755 RAID controller with 8 GB NV cache, supporting RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 over 12 Gb/s SAS links. Network connectivity comes from a Broadcom 5720 quad-port 1 GbE OCP 3.0 adapter. PCIe Gen4 slots provide expanded bandwidth for additional controllers or accelerators, while the platform supports SAS, SATA and NVMe drive types for flexible storage tiering.

Rail-mounted install with iDRAC9 setup
