This new 2U rack server ships with two Intel Xeon Gold 6338 processors, each running at 2.0 GHz with a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. The combined 32 cores and 768 GB of DDR4 3200 MHz registered ECC memory are built for heavy virtualisation, large databases and analytics workloads. It targets IT teams that need dense, redundant compute in a standard rack footprint.

Verify Rack Space and Network Cabling

Confirm you have 2U of vertical clearance and compatible sliding rails for a 15th-generation PowerEdge chassis. The server includes a Broadcom 57412 dual-port 10 GbE SFP+ OCP 3.0 card, so plan for SFP+ transceivers and fibre or direct-attach cables. Ensure your PDU can supply two 1400 W platinum power supplies with the correct IEC connectors.

H755 RAID Controller and iDRAC9 Enterprise

The PERC H755 adds 8 GB of battery-backed NV cache and supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 across the twelve 8 TB 7.2K SATA drives. iDRAC9 Enterprise provides a dedicated management port, full remote console, virtual media and automated firmware updates without an OS agent. Ready Rails and the front bezel are included for immediate rack mounting.
