The Dell PowerEdge R760 is a 2U rack server equipped with two Intel Xeon Gold 5418Y processors, each offering 24 cores at 2.0GHz with 3.8GHz turbo. 128GB of DDR5-4800 ECC memory is installed across eight modules. The PERC H965i controller supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 for NVMe, SAS and SATA drives.

Verify rack space, power and drive trays

Confirm the cabinet provides 2U of vertical clearance and can supply two 1400W platinum hot-swap power supplies with appropriate PDU connectors. The chassis includes only four 2.5-inch drive trays from the sixteen available bays, so additional trays are required to populate the remaining slots. Network uplinks use an OCP 3.0 quad-port 1GbE adapter.

Hot-swap components simplify daily operations

Redundant power supplies and sixteen hot-swap drive bays allow failed modules to be replaced without downtime. The front bezel and Ready Rails are included for secure mounting. iDRAC9 Datacenter provides dedicated remote management for firmware updates, power cycling and console access over the network.
