5U Tower Server for Virtualisation

The Dell PowerEdge T440 is a 5U tower server built around two Intel Xeon Silver 4210 processors, each running at 2.2 GHz with a 3.2 GHz turbo frequency. Twenty cores and 32 GB of DDR4-2400 ECC registered memory provide a foundation for virtualisation, database hosting and file storage workloads. The platform supports up to 1 TB of memory across sixteen DIMM slots for future growth.

H730P Controller and Sixteen 2.5-Inch Bays

A Dell PERC H730P 2 GB SAS/SATA storage controller manages RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and 60 plus pass-through modes. Eight 2.5-inch hot-swap drive trays are installed in the sixteen-bay chassis, leaving eight bays open for additional SAS, SATA or SSD storage. Dual-port Gigabit Ethernet and iDRAC 9 Express remote management are integrated on the motherboard.

Redundant 750 Watt Platinum Power Supplies

Two hot-plug 750 W Platinum-efficiency power supplies deliver redundant power for continuous operation.
