The Dell Precision 3240 Compact fits professional workloads into a 2.3L chassis. It ships with Windows 11 Pro and an 8-core Intel Core i7 10700 running at 2.9 GHz. Integrated Intel UHD 630 graphics drive up to two DisplayPort 1.4 monitors. This new system targets offices and labs where desk area is limited.

PCIe riser for optional low-profile GPU

A versatile internal riser accepts a single low-profile graphics card when integrated graphics are insufficient. Without that card the system relies on the UHD 630 engine. Three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C ports and one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port handle peripherals. Gigabit Ethernet is built in; wireless is not included.

16 GB DDR4 and 512 GB NVMe headroom

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR4 memory and a 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD cover typical business datasets and multitasking. Memory slots and the M.2 socket allow future expansion when projects grow. Buyers who need Wi-Fi, a discrete GPU from day one, or larger factory storage should look elsewhere.
