This new Dell Cheetah 15K.7 drive provides 600 GB of storage on a 3.5 inch SAS 6 Gb/s interface spinning at 15 000 RPM with a 16 MB buffer. It is built for Dell PowerEdge servers that require high-speed enterprise storage.

Fits 3.5 inch SAS backplanes

The unit ships with an R-series caddy so it mounts directly into compatible PowerEdge drive bays without extra brackets. A SAS host bus adapter or RAID controller with 6 Gb/s ports is required to connect the drive.

R-series caddy included

The bundled tray secures the drive in Dell server chassis and aligns the SAS connector for hot-plug backplanes. No additional mounting hardware or software utilities are supplied.
