The DIGITAL WATCHDOG DWC-VSBD04Bi is a 4MP outdoor network bullet camera built for continuous surveillance. It captures 2560 x 1440 video at 30fps through a 2.8mm fixed focal lens. The camera connects via a single RJ45 port using PoE IEEE 802.3af Class 3 or a separate DC 12V supply. It is rated IP67 for dust and water protection and IK10 for impact resistance.

Upgrades from basic analog

The jump is worth it when you need 4MP detail with H.265 compression to reduce bandwidth and storage. True WDR handles high-contrast scenes while Smart IR illuminates up to 40m (164ft). Built-in analytics cover line crossing, perimeter intrusion, and multiple tampering detection modes. Dual-stream encoding lets you record locally to a microSD card while streaming to an NVR.

Verify your infrastructure before ordering

Confirm your switch or injector delivers PoE Class 3 power or budget for a DC 12V adapter which is not included. A microSD card (Class 10) is required for edge recording and is sold separately. Ensure your recorder or VMS supports ONVIF Profile S and the listed protocols including RTSP and HTTPS. The fixed 2.8mm lens cannot be adjusted after installation.
