The ESTONE E02 kit connects any standard 2.5in or 3.5in SATA or IDE hard drive to a computer through an available USB 3.0 port. It also supports optical drives such as DVD-ROM, CD-ROM, CD-RW, DVD-RW and DVD+RW. The adapter is backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1. It requires no driver installation for Windows, Mac, Linux or Chrome OS.

Simple Plug-and-Play Setup

The package includes a 12V 2A power adapter and a 4-pin power cable to supply electricity to 3.5in drives and optical units without opening the computer case. The compact, lightweight design makes the kit easy to store and transport. Users must match the correct 40-pin or 44-pin IDE connector to the drive; forcing the wrong connector can bend pins and prevent detection.

Sustained Transfer Behaviour
