This 16 ft DisplayPort 1.4 fibre cable carries 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz over a single hybrid run of four glass fibres and oxygen-free copper. The directional design has a marked source end for the computer and a display end for the monitor. Gold-plated connectors and a TPE jacket resist wear during in-wall routing.

Replaces copper cables that lose bandwidth beyond

Standard copper DisplayPort cables often fail at 8K or high-refresh 4K beyond short lengths. The fibre construction here maintains the full 32.4 Gbps HBR3 link at 16 ft and is rated for up to 100 m without signal loss. The jump is worth it when the display sits farther than 10 ft from the source or when an in-wall run is required.

Handles 8K 7680 x 4320 at 60 Hz and 4K at 144 Hz

The link supports 32.4 Gbps with DSC 1.2 and HDR10, so 8K 60 Hz and 4K 144 Hz run at full fidelity. It is backward compatible with 2K and 1080p signals. Bandwidth runs out above 8K 60 Hz or 4K 144 Hz, so higher refresh rates at 8K or uncompressed 8K beyond 60 Hz are not supported.
