Leak detection for Apple homes

The Eve Water Guard monitors for water along a 6.5 ft sensing cable and raises a 100 dB siren plus a red flashing light the moment moisture is detected. Alerts also arrive on iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch through HomeKit. The unit plugs into mains power using the included interchangeable adapters for EU, UK, US and AU sockets.

Replaces basic floor sensors

Unlike simple battery pucks that only sound locally, this mains-powered detector adds Thread router capability to extend the mesh while delivering remote notifications via a HomeKit hub. The jump is worthwhile when you need both audible warning and off-site alerts without relying on a vendor cloud or bridge.

Thread and Bluetooth limits

Thread routing works only inside a HomeKit fabric with a compatible hub such as HomePod or Apple TV 4th generation or later; away-from-home notifications require that hub to be online. Bluetooth range depends on building materials and the sensor cable cannot be extended beyond the supplied 6.5 ft length.
