Smart plug two-pack for Matter homes

The Eve Energy two-pack adds app and voice control to lights or appliances using Thread and Matter. Each plug fits a Type B socket and accepts Type A or B plugs. It is aimed at smart-home buyers, office automation, and users of Apple Home, SmartThings, Alexa or Google Home running iOS 16.4 or Android 8.1.

15 A 1800 W capacity per outlet

Each unit handles up to 15 A at 120 V 60 Hz for a maximum of 1800 W resistive load. That covers most lamps, fans, heaters and kitchen appliances. High-draw devices such as large air-conditioners or workshop tools exceed the rating and need a dedicated circuit.
