The Fractal Design Epoch Black is an ATX mid-tower case built from steel with a tempered glass side panel. It supports ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and ships with three pre-installed Momentum 12 fans at the front. The mesh front and ventilated top panels promote natural airflow for high-performance components. Tool-free removal of the side, front, and top panels simplifies access during the build.

GPU clearance with fans or radiator

The case accepts graphics cards up to 372 mm long when the front fans remain mounted. Installing a front-mounted radiator reduces the maximum GPU length to 345 mm. This distinction helps builders plan their cooling strategy without sacrificing graphics performance. The interior layout is designed to keep cable routing tidy while accommodating long cards.

Radiator and drive limits

A front radiator up to 360 mm or a top radiator up to 240 mm can be fitted, while the rear supports a 120 mm unit. CPU air coolers up to 170 mm in height are compatible.
