The GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO AC is an ATX motherboard built for AMD Ryzen 5000 Series and 3rd Gen Ryzen processors. It provides a dual channel DDR4 layout with four DIMM slots for ECC or non ECC memory. A true 12+2 phase digital VRM with 50A DrMOS delivers stable power to the CPU socket.

Fins Array heatsink and Smart Fan 5

An advanced thermal design uses a Fins Array heatsink with a direct touch heatpipe to cool the VRM area. Smart Fan 5 reads multiple temperature sensors and controls hybrid fan headers that can stop completely at low load. The board draws only the power required for the connected components.

Dual PCIe 4.0 M.2 with thermal guards

Two M.2 slots accept NVMe drives at PCIe 4.0 or 3.0 x4 speeds and are covered by thermal guards to limit throttling during sustained transfers. The Ultra Durable PCIe 4.0 x16 slot handles long GPU workloads. Onboard Intel 802.11ac Wi Fi, BT 4.2 and 2.5 GbE LAN maintain connectivity under load.
