The Grandstream GWN7660ELR is an enterprise-grade outdoor access point built for high-density environments. It delivers Wi-Fi 6 connectivity with a 3000 Mbps aggregate wireless throughput. The unit supports up to 256 concurrent client devices and offers a coverage range of up to 300 meters. It is designed for businesses deploying next-generation wireless networks across large outdoor areas.
PoE-powered with 2.5 Gbps SFP uplink
The access point draws power through auto-detecting PoE or PoE+ ports, removing the need for a separate power supply at the mounting location. A 2.5 Gbps SFP wireline port provides a high-speed fibre uplink, while a 1 Gbps RJ45 port offers a standard copper connection. Five integrated internal antennas handle dual-band 2x2:2 MIMO with OFDMA, freeing the installer from aligning external antenna hardware.
Replaces shorter-range outdoor APs
This model upgrades installations where existing outdoor access points cannot reach the required distance or client density. The jump is worth it when coverage must extend to 300 meters and support hundreds of simultaneous users. It is not suited for indoor-only deployments or sites that lack PoE switching infrastructure.
