The GW7808NP kit delivers an 8-channel network video recorder with a pre-installed 2TB hard drive and six 4K dome cameras. Each camera captures 8.0 megapixel video at 3840 x 2160 resolution using a 2.8-12mm varifocal lens. The system records at real-time frame rates across all channels using H.265+ compression. It suits homes or small businesses needing a complete plug-and-play surveillance solution with audio recording.

Sustained 4K recording with AI filtering

H.265+ compression reduces bandwidth and storage consumption during continuous 4K 2160p recording at 30fps on every channel. The recorder supports motion detection, scheduled and alarm-based recording modes to manage disk usage over long periods. Fifteen smart AI functions plus human detection help minimise false alerts that would otherwise fill the 2TB drive. Eight PoE ports power cameras directly through the supplied 60 and 100 feet cables.

Expands from smaller PoE kits

This kit replaces standalone 1080p or 4-channel systems by adding 4K resolution, varifocal flexibility and built-in microphones on six cameras. The eight-channel NVR allows two additional cameras to be added later without a new recorder. Buyers who need more than eight camera inputs or larger onboard storage will need a different recorder. The 2.8-12mm lens adjusts from 115 to 22 degrees to match specific viewing requirements.
