Straightforward 2.5″ SATA installation

The drive fits any standard 2.5″ SATA tray or caddy and uses the common 7-pin data plus 15-pin power connectors. No special drivers are required; the operating system detects it as a basic SATA block device. Problems usually appear when a system BIOS is set to RAID or IDE mode instead of AHCI, or when the SATA cable is not fully seated.
