This 1 TB internal hard drive spins at 7200 RPM and uses a SAS 4 Gb/s interface. It is supplied with a Smart Carrier caddy designed exclusively for HP EVA M6412 enclosures. The 32 MB buffer supports steady throughput for array workloads.

The included Smart Carrier tray slots into the enclosure without extra brackets or adapters. A 40-pin connector handles both data and power through the backplane, freeing internal cabling space. Dual-port SAS provides path redundancy inside the array.
